Before resetting or reinstalling

• Record the exact error, software version and the operation that preceded it.
• Keep a record of your saved script profiles and selected slots.
• Confirm you can access the installer or account needed to reinstall your scripts.
• Read the complete recovery procedure before beginning. A hard reset removes scripts stored on the device.

If an ERA write fails

Do not treat a started write as a successful installation. Keep the error message and the target slot, then follow the current ERA installation instructions. Successful installed-slot confirmation is the step to check before gameplay.

If the error repeats with the same build, give Ozark the build and error details. Avoid cycling through unrelated reset procedures without knowing which problem they address.

Check the result in stages.

1. Confirm the device connects to the documented software.
2. Confirm the firmware/software combination is supported.
3. Install the intended script and confirm its slot.
4. Test normal controller input before testing a mod.
