SETUP · CRONUS ZEN GUIDES
Can you set up Cronus Zen without a Windows PC?
For the Cronus device software, a Windows PC is not the only option: the current Zen Studio Live guide lists Windows, macOS and Linux. Your script can have different requirements. Ozark’s documented ERA installation uses a Windows PC with desktop Chrome or Edge.
Which part are you trying to set up?
- The Cronus device
- Device configuration, firmware and generic script tools follow the manufacturer’s requirements.
- Your purchased script
- A licensed installer may use its own browser, operating system and access checks. Check those separately.
- Playing after installation
- Programming the device and connecting it for gameplay are different steps. Follow the connection guide for your console or PC.
What about a MacBook, Chromebook or phone?
The current manufacturer reference recommends Chrome and lists Windows, macOS and Linux for Zen Studio Live. It explicitly excludes iOS. It does not establish support for every Chromebook or Android device; check the exact device and browser before relying on one.
What do I need for ERA?
The documented ERA workflow uses My Ozark and Zen Flasher on a Windows PC with desktop Chrome or Edge. Being able to open the general Cronus app on another operating system does not confirm that ERA installation is supported there.
Check access to the required computer, a data cable and your supported controller connection before purchasing. If your equipment differs, ask Ozark about your exact setup.
Already installed? Follow the gameplay connection.
Finish the installation and confirm the selected slot before changing cables. Use your platform’s connection instructions; do not assume the programming cable arrangement is the gameplay arrangement.
